John has been announcing races and ‘calling the shots’ for 10 years

Starting at the Major Taylor Velodrome, in Indianapolis, In., John has announced around the country at numerous events. His racing background comes from his time spent on the Marian University Cycling Team and beyond where he competed in road, track, mountain bike, and cyclo-cross.

The original event series that put John on the mic were the ‘Throwdown Thursday’ and ‘Fast Friday’ series at the Indy Cycloplex, Home of the Major Taylor Velodrome, in 2013. It wasn’t until 2016 that he was asked to work his first National Championship event with USA Cycling at the Collegiate Road National Championships in Grand Junction, Co.

From there he has announced crits and road races, starting locally, regionally, and at the national level. He recently has been traveling for USA Cycling announcing at multiple National Championship races.
